Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. tomato juice
    1 c. soft butter
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar, salt
    and
    flour.
    Add
    a little hot juice to mixture and mix
    until
    smooth, then mix with rest of juice. Boil 1/2 hour and put in jars.
    Boil in hot water bath for 30 minutes.
    Add
    1
    pint
    milk
    before serving.
    Makes 10 pints.
