Strawberry Apple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1 small peeled and cored, thinly sliced apple
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 pkg. strawberry muffin mix
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Grease 8-inch round cake pan.
Arrange overlapping apple slices in circle to cover bottom of pan.
Melt brown sugar and margarine together.
Pour brown sugar mixture over apples.
Combine muffin mix and milk in bowl; stir until moistened. Pour evenly over apples.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Immediately invert onto plate and serve.
