Barbecued Deer Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. deer steak
    milk (to cover)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    flour (to dredge)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion, minced
    1 bottle barbecue sauce
    1/2 c. white wine
Preparation
    Cover steaks with milk; let stand 30 minutes.
    Remove from milk.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Dredge in flour; brown in butter. Place layer of steaks in casserole.
    Add layer of onion and barbecue sauce.
    Repeat layers until all steaks are used.
    Pour wine over steaks.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 4.
