Chicken Sausage Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken, cut up
1 lb. Polish sausage, sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cayenne pepper (you may adjust if you don't like hot)
1 tsp. black pepper
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 c. tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 qt. chicken broth
1 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. okra, sliced
Preparation

Mix garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt with the flour.
Roll the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
Brown in deep fat; drain.
Save the extra flour mixture.
