Baking Powder Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 slices white bread, cut in small pieces
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. lukewarm milk
    1 egg
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together well until dough is quite thick.
    Let stand for 15 minutes on floured board, then drop dough into boiling water.
    Cover and boil for 20 minutes. Do not uncover or mix dumplings while cooking.
    After 20 minutes, take out with a large slotted spoon and put on clean towel to dry out.
    These dumplings are very light and tasty.
