Smothered Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. hot oil
Preparation

Combine flour and seasonings.
Dip chicken in buttermilk. Then dredge in flour mixture.
Brown chicken on both sides in hot oil over high heat.
Cover and reduce heat to low and cook 45 minutes or until done.
Drain on paper towels.
