24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. halved grapes
    2 c. pineapple chunks
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    2 c. mandarin orange sections
    1 c. whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Put eggs in double boiler.
    Add vinegar and sugar, beating constantly until thick and smooth.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and cool.
    When cold, fold in whipped cream and fruit mixture. Leave in refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
    Could add bananas, coconut and pecans too, if desired.
