Tea Cakes(Maw Maw Kelly'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add flour alternately with milk.
Add vanilla.
Roll part at a time very thin.
Cut with cookie cutter.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
