Cream Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. Milnot
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk and cream.
    Combine flour, cornstarch, sugar and salt.
    Mix together thoroughly.
    Add to scalded milk and cook until thick and smooth.
    Stir a small amount of mixture into mixture and cook a few minutes longer.
    Add vanilla.
    Top with meringue.
    (I also make in microwave using 5 minutes on High, then 2 or 3 minutes at a time until done.)
    (Use one baked pie crust.)
