Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 1/2 c. minced celery
    1 c. minced onions
    1 c. minced green peppers
    2 envelopes Lipton chicken noodle soup mix
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    4 c. boiling water
    4 oz. mushrooms
    3/4 c. uncooked rice (regular)
Preparation
    Brown sausage and place in a 3-quart greased casserole.
    Brown and saute celery, onions and peppers in 3 tablespoons sausage drippings.
    Dissolve soup in boiling water.
    Place all ingredients, except almonds, in casserole and mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Take out, stir and top with slivered almonds.
    Bake until toasted.
    Serves 8 to 10.
