Wheat Honey Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. honey
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. raisins or dates
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix dry ingredients together.
    In separate bowl mix honey, buttermilk, vegetable oil and eggs.
    Add to flour mixture and stir just until moistened.
    Add pecans and dates or raisins. Turn into a buttered 8-inch loaf pan and bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool for 5 minutes and turn out of pan.
