Sausage-Apple Stacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped apples
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 lb. bulk sausage
Preparation
    Combine apples, onion and crumbs.
    Shape sausage into 8 patties.
    Place 4 patties in shallow pan.
    Put apple mixture on top, then stack 4 sausages on top of mixture.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
