Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    2 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Melt sugar and butter in large saucepan. Add 1 egg and then 1/2 flour, another egg and then remaining flour. Add chopped pecans and vanilla.
    Pour in 9 x 9 x 2 1/2-inch metal pan.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Yields 16 to 20 chewies.
