Scallop Stew(For 2) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1 pt. scallops (sea scallops)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Melt butter in top of double boiler.
Add scallops, cut in quarters.
Keep turning scallops as they cook until they lose the gray look.
Add nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
Place top of double boiler over lower part which has boiling water in it.
Add milk (warm).
Let stand until very hot.
Add paprika, if desired.
