Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 cakes yeast or dry
    6 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine milk, Crisco and sugar.
    Bring to boil, then cool to lukewarm.
    Soften yeast in water, add beaten egg and yeast.
    Sift flour with salt.
    Add liquid to flour and salt. Turn to floured board and knead until smooth.
    Place in greased bowl, covered, and let rise until double in size.
    Knead again, then make into rolls. Let rise again then bake.
