Squash-Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked, cubed squash
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together thoroughly.
    Pour into 2-quart greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle crumbled bacon and grated cheese over top of casserole.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 55 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
