Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 medium potatoes, sliced thin (skin on)
2 small onions, sliced
Preparation

In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat, blend in flour and add milk all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Add cheese. Season with salt and pepper and continue to cook until cheese melts.
Remove from heat.
Spread half in a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
Arrange potatoes and onion slices over cheese.
Spread remaining cheese on top.
Bake one hour in an oven preheated at 350\u00b0.
Yields 8 (3/4-cup) servings.
