Cherry-Cake Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 layer size) pkg. fudge cake mix (See Note)
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    2 beaten eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, mix fudge cake mix, almond extract, cherry pie filling and beaten eggs; beat with mixer until well blended.
    Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and let cool 1 to 2 hours before frosting.
    Let frosting set before cutting into bars.
