Shanghai Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground meat
1 clove minced garlic
2 c. chopped celery
10 oz. pkg. frozen vegetables, thawed
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. chopped onions
1 Tbsp. oil
10 1/2 oz. can mushroom soup
2 c. cooked rice
2 tsp. salt
3 oz. can chow mein noodle
Preparation

Brown meat, onions and garlic in oil.
Add celery, soup and thawed vegetables.
Stir in rice and seasonings.
Turn into greased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Cover and let bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0. Remove cover and top with noodles.
Return to oven for 5 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
