Fruit Nut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil or margarine
    1/2 c. mini chocolate chips
    3/4 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries, well drained
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Add beaten egg, milk and oil. Stir until just blended. Mix in chocolate bits, drained pineapple, chopped nuts and drained cherries.
    Pour batter into greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until they test done.
    Makes 1 dozen.
