Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. salt water
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 c. cold water
    garlic powder
    chili powder
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 onion, chopped
    1 can pinto beans
    1 can whole corn
    1 to 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    corn chips for topping
Preparation
    Prepare a thick mush of 2 1/2 cups salted water.
    Put water in microwavable 2-quart measuring cup or casserole dish.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir in 3/4 cup cornmeal mixed in 1-cup cold water. Continue to microwave stirring every minute until mush thickens. Remove and season with garlic powder and chili powder to taste.
