Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large apples, cored and sliced
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 Tbsp. sugar
3 c. unsifted flour
1 c. oil
juice of 1 orange
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix apples, cinnamon and sugar; set aside.
Beat together remainder of ingredients until smooth.
Pour 1/2 batter in tube pan, greased and floured.
Add 1/2 apple slices.
Add remainder of batter; then finish with apple slices.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
