Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. canned blackberries (undrained)
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour and measure.
    Add soda and spices and sift twice more.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with blackberries.
    Pour into 2 well greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
