Microwave Mock Chinese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. dry chicken noodle soup mix
    1 1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. quick cooking rice
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Combine soup mix and water in 1 1/2-quart shallow casserole. Cover with lid.
    Microwave 3 to 4 minutes until mixture boils. Stir in rice and let stand covered.
    Crumble sausage in 1-quart casserole.
    Add onion, green pepper and celery. Microwave 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 minutes or until set, stirring once.
    Drain thoroughly. Stir in rice mixture.
    Cover.
    Microwave 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
