Three Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
    1 (1 lb.) can cut wax beans
    1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans
    1 small onion, sliced
    1/2 green pepper, sliced (optional)
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain and combine beans.
    Add onions and peppers.
    Mix the balance of the ingredients and pour over vegetables.
    Toss and chill overnight or for a comparable time.
    Toss again to coat ingredients and drain.
