Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 (10 oz.) bottles chili sauce
    1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs and salt and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
    Place in a pan and place under broiler unit about 5 minutes, or until browned; drain grease.
    In a Dutch oven, combine chili sauce, lemon juice and jelly; heat until jelly is melted.
    Add meatballs and simmer 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
    Freezes well.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
