Frosted Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Kellogg's Special K
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    12 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Place sugar and syrup in a pan.
    Stir to combine.
    Cook, stirring constantly, to a boil.
    Take off heat and add peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Add Special K.
    Stir until coated.
    Press in a 13 x 9-inch buttered pan.
    Cool.
