Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pastry shell
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
1 c. white sugar
1/2 box (3 Tbsp.) strawberry jello
3 drops red food coloring
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 qt. strawberries
Cool Whip

Preparation

Make a paste of the first 4 ingredients. Add 1 cup of boiling water and red food coloring. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice and oleo. Let cool. Mix strawberries. Pour into pastry shell and top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
