Mexican Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. quick-cooking grits, uncooked
    1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    1/4 c. frozen egg substitute, thawed
    vegetable cooking spray
Preparation
    Combine water and salt in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in grits.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until mixture is thickened, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
