Fruit Cocktail Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 (15 to 16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients, including fruit cocktail juice until well mixed.
    Pour into 9-inch square greased baking dish. Sprinkle top with mixture of brown sugar and chopped nuts.
    Bake 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Top with whipped topping or whipped cream.
