Ham And Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Great Northern beans
1 large ham bone with meat chunks (as much as you like)
1 large onion, chopped
Preparation

Soak beans overnight.
Drain and empty into large pot.
Add chopped onion, bone and meat chunks.
Cover with water about 1-inch above beans and cook slowly. Simmer 4 to 5 hours.
Stir sparingly with wooden or plastic spoon.
May need to add water. When done, remove bone from pot.
Take remaining meat off bone. Cut up and add back.
