Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. anise seed
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly and spoon off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Stir occasionally.
