Turtles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 tsp. cream of tartar
chocolate candy coating
1 lb. margarine or butter
1 c. light Karo syrup
1 lb. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except chocolate in large pan.
Cook to soft ball stage (230\u00b0).
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Put into refrigerator to cool.
When firm, cover both sides lightly with melted chocolate.
