Fat Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fast rising dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 slightly beaten egg white
    salt
Preparation
    In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
    Add the sugar and salt.
    Add the flour a cup at a time, stirring as you go.
    When the dough no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl, place the dough on a floured surface and knead about 5 minutes. Divide the dough into 16 balls.
    Roll the balls into ropes about 12 inches long.
    Shape the ropes into pretzels.
    Place the pretzels on a well-greased cookie sheet.
    Brush the pretzels with egg white and sprinkle with salt.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Serve warm.
