Cream Wafers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
1/3 c. whipping cream
2 c. Gold Medal flour
Preparation

Mix, cover and chill until hard.
Roll about 1/3 of the dough at a time 1/8-inch thick on a flour cloth covered board.
Keep remaining dough chilled.
Cut into 1 1/2-inch rounds.
Transfer onto wax paper, heavily covered with granulated sugar, so each side is well covered.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Prick each round with a fork 4 times.
Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until nice and brown.
Put cookies together in pairs with creamy filling.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
