Poor Man'S Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 c. cracker crumbs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup
    1 can water
Preparation
    Mix well and shape in narrow loaf.
    Put in refrigerator overnight or 8 hours.
    Slice in pieces.
    Roll in flour, then fry until brown.
    Put in roaster.
    Pour mushroom soup diluted with 1 can water over meat.
    Bake in slow oven for 2 hours (300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0).
