Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lb. round steak
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. minced onion
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. tomatoes
2 c. water
Preparation

Brown steak on both sides.
Combine vegetables and water and pour over steak.
Simmer at 200\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 4 to 6.
