Meringue For Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    In mixer bowl, beat egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar at medium speed of electric mixer for about 1 minute or until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, about 1 tablespoon at a time, beating at high speed for about 4 minutes or until mixture forms stiff, glossy peaks.
    Spread over pie, carefully sealing to edge to prevent shrinkage.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 just until meringue turns golden, about 10 to 12 minutes.
