Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. little yellow squash
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. butter
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 medium onion, cut fine
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook the squash, cut in slices, in 1-inch of water until tender with 1 teaspoon salt. Drain and mash.
    Mix together eggs (beaten well), butter, cheese, onion and sugar.
    Pour in casserole. Cover with crumbs. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8.
