Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs, separated and whites beaten stiff
    1 1/4 c. butter or oleo (2 1/2 sticks; room temperature)
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. less 1 Tbsp. milk (room temperature)
    2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream the butter and egg yolks.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    Add milk and flour alternately and beat. Add coconut and beat well.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in a Bundt or loaf pan, sprayed with Pam, at 300\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes.
