Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. melted margarine or butter
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add cornmeal, beaten egg and milk.
Stir until stiff.
Add melted margarine and beat until light and mixed.
Bake in greased iron frying pan at 425\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
