Pierogi Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large mixing bowl mashed potatoes (approximately 5 lb.)
    2 1/2 to 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 sticks margarine
    3 large onions
    1 box lasagna noodles
Preparation
    Boil lasagna noodles.
    Chop onions and saute in margarine. Layer margarine-onion mixture, noodles and potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch glass pan or large glass lasagna pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0, covered, for 1 hour.
    Let set 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves a crowd.
