Fried Pie Crust For 50 Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    cooked sweet fruit
Preparation
    Mix flour and Crisco until crumbly.
    Add remaining ingredients to flour mixture.
    Mix into a ball.
    Roll out into 4 or 5-inch circles.
    Spread with fruit.
    Fold over and pinch edges together. Fry in deep fat.
    Makes about 50.
