Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 oz. red food coloring
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together the first 3 ingredients.
Add eggs and beat. Make a paste of the cocoa and food coloring, then add to mixture. Add buttermilk, alternating with flour and salt. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla.
Dissolve soda in vinegar, then add and mix well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes in greased and floured cake pans.
