Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 c. mashed baked sweet potatoes
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal.
    Stir in sweet potatoes; add milk gradually to form soft dough.
    Turn onto lightly floured board.
    Knead lightly.
    Roll or pat 1/2 inch thick; cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 475\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
