Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
2 yeast cakes
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. lemon rind
5 c. flour
Preparation

Scald milk; pour over shortening, sugar and salt.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Add enough flour to make a stiff batter.
Add eggs, yeast and lemon rind.
Mix well.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
