Texas Pinto Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. water
1 lb. dried pinto beans (about 1 1/4 c.)
1/4 lb. salt pork (with rind)
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce
Preparation

Heat water and beans to boiling in 3-quart saucepan.
Boil 2 minutes.
Remove from heat, cover and let stand 1 hour.
