Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter
1 egg, well beaten
Preparation

Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Combine milk, melted butter and egg.
Add to dry ingredients slowly, beating until smooth.
Bake in greased square pan in 375\u00b0 oven 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut in squares to serve.
