Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs (room temperature)
1 qt. warm milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add salt and sugar and beat until dissolved.
Add milk and vanilla and mix well.
Pour into a 10-inch pie shell, unbaked, and sprinkle with nutmeg (nutmeg may be added with the sugar).
Bake for 10 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 15 minutes longer or until knife inserted in pie comes out clean.
