Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pt. potatoes, cut into small pieces
    2 pt. tomatoes, cooked
    1 pt. cabbage, cut in small pieces
    1/2 pt. corn
    1/2 pt. green peas
    1/2 pt. onion, cut in small pieces
    1/2 pt. carrots, cut in small pieces
    1/4 pt. celery, cut in small pieces
    3 Tbsp. melted bacon grease
    1 Tbsp. (level) salt
    1 Tbsp. white sugar
    red or black pepper to your taste
    4 pt. water
Preparation
    First put 4 pints of water in pot.
    Add potatoes, carrots, cabbage, onion, celery, bacon grease, salt and sugar.
    Cook 20 minutes, then add corn, peas and cooked tomatoes.
    Cook for 20 more minutes.
    All together cook for 40 minutes.
